Tips and Suggestions on creating a professional portfolio |

The pictures in your book should look like they came out of a magazine and should be sharp and clear.Only put the type photos in your book that you want to do! If they want you to do something other that what is in your book - they will ask! |

Remember -- “ there are a lot of picture takers - but very few professionals ! “ |

1. You are a business and also the product. Therefore you want the best photographs you can get to promote the business and your product. |

2. You should have as many different looks as possible including at least one good head shot or more [three is good so one shows a profile ], a full length body shot [ swimsuit ] showing figure. The more varied the looks the better. |

3. Do not waste your money or time on so called model event that promise you interviews with agents! Most of these are a scam of one kind - BEWARE if they ask you for any money to guarantee an interview . Ask if they will give you a contract guaranteeing you work ! |

4. Select your photographer that is a fashion and glamour professional photographer and is a professional - that is it is not just a part time job or hobby - just ask if they have another job to help support their photography ! Look at their work ! Cost: It may not cost any more to get a pro that a “ picture taker “ ! |

5. Do Not pick a photographer that does mostly portraits , weddings , landscapes , etc. Avoid group / mob photo shoots [ OK for meeting people ] as a general rule you will not really get what you need - there is not enough time to get that professional one on one session you need. |

6. Do Not waste your money and time on Modeling schools !!!! Take that same money and invest it in your photos for your book ! |
