Our Mississippi Hall of Fame is to honor as many Mississippians who have achievements in the arts : writers , journalist , actors , actresses , dancers ,musicians , producers ,directors , radio & TV performers , entertainers , singers , artist , and sculptors who were born in Mississippi or have made Mississippi their home for 50% of their life and have national and/or international recognition. NOTE : no politicians will be included here nor will any sports figures . This is to recognize those Mississippians who have excelled in the fields of artistic endeavor.
